Hallo, ik wil graag zelf pellets gaan maken. 

Daartoe zou ik met een paar mensen in de omgeving van Meppel een pers willen kopen en deze dan gebruiken voor het maken van pellets.

Een kwalitatief goede pers met een behoorlijke capaciteit kost ca 4000,-. Met vier personen is dit 1000 euro per persoon. Reken met een afschrijving van 10 jaar is dat 100 euro op jaarbasis. Moeten alleen de grondstoffen voor pellets nog aangeschaft worden (vaak gratis) en moet de pers bediend worden.

Zelf klooien, ik weet al vanaf 2010 dat mijn leverancier  De Lange in Ursem  eerst wel eens rommel en zelfs plastic erin had.

Ook stof en andere zaken kwamen voor maar nu wel verbeterd.

Daar zijn ze als fabriek  van strooisel voor dieren wel wat gewend maar ook daar is de kwaliteit sterk verbeterd.

Ik moest eerste jaren wel zeven en hield daar laagje aan over.

Ooit gratis zakken gehad na aantonen stof en vergoeding voor de overlast.

 

Voor je eindelijk goede pallets hebt, al het snoeihout moet eerst fijn zaagsel of stof worden voor je kunt persen en het energie gebruik

 is ook vrij hoog,   waar ik ze haal hebben ze groot gebruik en lagere stroomprijs dan bij mijn thuis.

Als je thuis met 20 ct/kwh wilt persen en nog moet malen voor juiste kom je niet verder dan gras persen, dat kan er gelijk in.

Alleen weet ik hoeveel droog gras  je moet storten dus per KG voordeliger maar als je kijkt hoe snel dit soort doe het zelf zooi er doorheen gaat?

How can the consumer identify ENplus® pellets?

The pellets in bag should contain a valid ENplus® quality seal

From May 2011 to 31^st July 2016

From August 2015

   

The ENplus® seal should be complete with being made of the ENplus® logo, the quality class and an ID number (country code + 3 digits). The certified company details that are showed on the bag should correspond with the ones showed on the certified producers/traders list.

If the ENplus® seal is incomplete or the company details are not matching, then the case should be notified here.

All communication material (website, flyer, etc.) should contain a valid ENplus® certification seal.

The delivery notes of bulk pellets could contain an ENplus® seal but should contain at least a valid ID number (country code + 3 digits). If the certified company details that are showed on the delivery note do not match with the ones showed on the certified producers/traders list, then the case should be notified here.

Why do wood pellets need a certificate?
To ensure reliable, high quality pellets for the consumers, ENplus® guarantees that the pellets are of complying with the ISO 17225-2 standard for pellets and in some cases the ENplus® requirements exceed the requirements of the standard. The whole production chain is covered by the certification scheme, guaranteeing the pellets quality from the factory to the end customer gate.

What is the difference between a standard and a certification?
A standard is a document that provides requirements, specifications, guidelines or characteristics that can be used consistently to ensure that materials, products, processes and services are fit for their purpose.

A certification is a provision by an independent body of written assurance (a certificate) that the product, service or system in question meets specific requirements.

How to have a properly designed store for bulk pellets?

What to do if I suspect fraud?
The first thing to do if you suspect fraud is to check the list of traders and producers from the ENplus® website to see if the company is certified. If the company is not on the list you should fill in this form so EPC will look into the suspected fraud case and take further action.

Which quality classes exist in ENplus®?
The ENplus® certification includes three quality classes: ENplus A1®, ENplus A2® and ENplus B®.

How do the boiler/stove manufacturers see ENplus®?
Most manufacturers embrace ENplus® and recommend using ENplus® pellets and include ENplus® in the warranties of their installations. Also many installers recommend ENplus®.

How does ENplus® ensure the right quality?
ENplus® provides effective tools for the implementation of a comprehensive quality management system in the certified companies. The quality management system as well as the pellet quality are controlled periodically by independent institutions.

Does ENplus® take new developments into account?
Yes! The involved associations represent the pellet sector in Europe and work closely together with all stakeholders to quickly respond to market needs and in order to adapt and optimize the ENplus® system accordingly. An example of ENplus® development is the publications of the the Handbook 3.0 in August 2015.

Are pellets more expensive because of ENplus®?
The ENplus® certification does not cause high extra costs for producers or traders. Furthermore, consumers can chose pellets with the same high quality from a wider production base, thus fostering competition. Pellet producers on the other hand profit from easier access to new markets.

Who manages ENplus®?
The European Pellet Council (EPC) brings together national pellet associations from all over Europe and beyond to manage ENplus® and also discuss issues like safety, security of supply, education and training, and the quality of pellet using devices.

How can producers and traders use ENplus®?
A contract with an independent certification body, which oversees the process, is made. Once conformity with the ENplus® regulations has been confirmed by the certification body and all the administration has been done, EPC or a national pellet association allows the use of the ENplus® protected trademark.

How is the conformity to ENplus® regulations checked?
Pellet plants get audited once a year to inspect the production process and the quality management. Pellet samples are taken and analyzed by accredited testing labs (Testing bodies). Traders are also inspected once a year. Producers and traders are free to choose any accredited company listed on the ENplus® website for the audits (Inspection body) and tests (Testing body). Training courses for new auditors are organized to ensure the same quality of audits all over the world.

How is the market uptake of ENplus® in Europe?
ENplus® is spreading quickly since its first introduction in Germany in 2010. As of 2017, there are ENplus® certified pellet producers in 43 countries (Albania, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam). The total production of ENplus® pellets is of more than 8 million tonnes per year.
